Global Rules let you customize how Inspectr analyzes your inspection data across all new condition assessments. Rules control how issues are flagged, what products or vendors are recommended, and how costs are estimated.
How to add rules
Add rules in plain language, one per line. For example:
Always flag FPE/Zinsco panels as critical safety hazards
Use commercial-grade cost estimates for all properties
Prefer Duro-Last for roof replacement recommendations
Flag any galvanized plumbing as immediate replacement
Always recommend full HVAC replacement over 15 years old
Include mold/moisture risk assessment for crawl spaces
When rules apply
Rules are applied automatically to every new assessment. You can add, edit, or remove rules at any time — changes take effect on the next assessment you run, not retroactively.
Don't forget to save
Click Save Rules after making changes.
