Upload Options

What you can upload and when to use each format.

Inspectr accepts five input types for condition assessments. You don't need to pre-sort or label your photos — just upload thorough coverage and the system handles the rest.

Inspection Report (PDF)

Best when your team or a third-party inspector already produces structured inspection reports. Inspectr reads the checklist, maps findings to building systems, and produces the assessment from the report content.

Property Photos

Best for teams doing their own walkthroughs without a formal checklist. Upload JPGs, PNGs, or HEICs. More photos = better assessment. No minimum, but aim for coverage of every system — exteriors, interiors, mechanical rooms, common areas, and unit interiors for multifamily.

Dropbox Folder

Best when photos are already organized in Dropbox. Paste the folder link and Inspectr pulls everything in. Saves the upload step.

HappyCo CSV

Best for teams already running inspections in HappyCo. Export your inspection data as a CSV and upload it. Inspectr maps HappyCo's inspection items to its own system categories.

Video Walkthrough

Best for quick site visits where video is faster than individual photos. Upload MP4 or MOV files. Inspectr extracts and analyzes individual frames. Longer, steadier walkthroughs produce better results than quick pans.
